1. Design Fundamentals
For a "straight line" aesthetic, the design usually follows a minimalist or neoclassical approach.

The Shaft: A perfectly square extrusion. To avoid a "flat" look, you can incorporate vertical fluting (concave grooves) or reeding (convex ridges).

The Base (Plinth): A slightly wider square block to provide visual and physical stability.
