A "center line" in machining is the theoretical line that defines the exact center of a toolpath. For a border, this means the CNC router bit will travel directly down the middle of the line that forms your rectangle.

  • If you use a V-Bit: The center line becomes the bottom of the "V". The width of the engraved line is determined by the angle of the bit and the depth of the cut.
